AKSHAYA NETHRALAYA headed by Dr. R. Nagabhushana Managing Director, having more than 20 years Of Rich Experience in the field of Ophthalmology. Dr. Nagabhushana has conducted more than 35,000 Cataract Surgeries by Phaco emulsification and Micro Incisional Techniques successfully and also imparted surgical training to Junior ophthalmologists.

Apart from the Cataract Surgery Dr.Nagabhushana.R has successfully performed more than 1000 Lasik Procedures as Refractive Corrective procedure.

Our Journey

Dr Nagabhushana.R Medical Director of Akshaya Nethralaya has completed MBBS Degree from Mysore University in the year 1995. Subsequently pursued his Post Graduation and completed DO MS from Rajiv Gandhi University in the year 1999 and later completed from prestigious MINTO EYE HOSPITAL DNB in the year 2000.

Dr.Nagabhushana.R has Diploma of Fellowship in Ophthalmology FRCS from Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.

Dr.Nagabhushana.R was associated with reputed eye Hospitals and has excellent Track Record for Cataract Surgery.

Dr.Nagabhushana.R was also Chikmagalore ROTARY eye hospital performed around 20000 cataract surgeries. Here not only Cataract surgery was performed and also trained the Juniors in the field of Ophthalmology services.

Dr.Nagabhushana.R later started in 2007 Akshaya Nethralaya a complete Ophthalmic Eye Hospital In Bangalore to provide the Best of the Eye Care at an Affordable Cost.

Here Quality of Eye care services is the priority.

Today Dr.Nagabhushana.R has completed more than 20 years of Rich Experience in The filed of Ophthalmology. Has performed more than 35000 of successful Cataract Surgeries.
